The Dampier Commonwealth Marine Reserve is approximately 52 km to the south-east of the survey area.
Boundary coordinates for the survey area are listed in Table 1-2. The survey area is the area within which data will be acquired. A buffer around the survey area is also required for activities including sail line run-ins and run-outs (required to obtain full fold coverage), soft-start procedures, streamer deployment and retrieval, maintenance and recovery and vessel manoeuvring (line turns) will occur.
