Jadestone Energy (Australia) Pty Ltd (‘Jadestone Energy’) intends to plug and abandon the existing and unused water injector well 14H on the Stag Central Platform Facility (CPF), and using this slot, drill a new production well 49H.
Jadestone Energy will use a mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) to undertake the drilling activities. The MODU will be a Jack Up Rig which will be positioned at the Stag CPF for the duration of the drilling activities. At this time, the MODU to be used is not confirmed.
Timing of the activity is intended to be within Q3/Q4 2018 however the activity may occur in 2019. The total time taken to complete the drilling activities is estimated at up to 50 days.
