This EP describes on-going cessation activities in the BHP operated Permit Area WA-10-L (Griffin Field), located approximately 58 km north-west of Exmouth, Western Australia, in Commonwealth waters. The scope of the activities includes:
The physical presence of remaining development infrastructure in the Griffin Field;
The presence of remaining Griffin 7.75’’ Export Pipeline (Licence No. WA-3-PL Commonwealth) in the Griffin Field extending from the riser approximately 32.5 km to the Commonwealth/West Australian state waters boundary;
BHP’s inspection visits to the RTM;
Vessel operations directly associated with Cessation activities only when they are within the Operational Area within the Griffin Field;
Cessation activities involving surface inspections in the Griffin Field; and
Cessation activities involving subsea inspections/interventions in the Griffin Field.
