Woodside is preparing an Environment Plan (EP) to undertake drilling activities within the permit WA-404-P.The EP proposes to undertake drilling of up to six wells (exploration and appraisal wells), including the Ferrand exploration well, and the re-entry into the previously drilled and suspended Noblige-1 for well plug and abandonment.
The proposed petroleum activities program is located in Commonwealth waters, approximately 260 km north-west of Dampier, Western Australia. The closest landfall to the permit area is the Montebello Islands which is approximately 138 km south at the closest point.
The proposed Petroleum Activities Program is scheduled to commence in Q1 2018.
