The Casino-Henry-Netherby (CHN) field is located in water depths ranging from 60 to 70 m in Production Licence areas VIC/L24 and VIC/L30, approximately 30 km southwest of Port Campbell on the Otway coastline (Victoria).
The CHN offshore assets consist of the following subsea wells and pipelines:• Casino-4 and Casino-5 (located in Production Licence VIC/L24);• Henry-2 and Netherby-1 (located in Production Licence VIC/L30);• The 32.6 km Casino Stage I Pipeline (Licenced Pipeline VIC/PL37) and umbilical which connects Casino-4 and Casino-5 to shoreline processing facilities at the Iona Gas Plant; • The 22 km Casino Stage II Pipeline (Licenced Pipeline VIC/PL42) and umbilical which connects the Henry-2 and Netherby-1 wells to the Casino Stage 1 Pipeline.
The scope of this Environment Plan covers all ongoing operational inspection, maintenance and repair activities for the next five years associated with hydrocarbon production from the CHN subsea wells. This includes operation, monitoring and control of the CHN wells, integrity management activities such as vessel-based ROV surveys and in-line inspections, and maintenance and repair activities such as marine growth removal, choke and flowline jumper replacement and pipeline repair.
The proposed revision of the Casino Henry Netherby Environment Plan has been submitted by the present titleholder Santos Ltd, but has been prepared by Cooper Energy in preparation for a change in the titleholder.
