The Tuna EP covers all activities relating to hydrocarbon production from the following facilities and transport of hydrocarbons in the following pipelines:
Tuna platform (Production Licence VIC/L09);
TNA-MLA300 Gas (Licensed Pipeline VIC/PL9); and
TNA-MLA200 Oil (Licensed Pipeline VIC/PL10).
Esso Australia Resources Pty Ltd (“Esso”) is the operator and a titleholder of the abovementioned production licences and licenced petroleum pipelines.
The Tuna (TNA) platform is located approximately 43 km off the Gippsland coast in approximately
59 m of water depth (Figure 1).
Ongoing operational, maintenance, and minor construction (brownfields) activities will be conducted on these facilities and pipelines over the next five years, as well as wellwork operations on the Tuna platform.
